| 1. | Why would I want a personal wedding page? | |||
| Because you don't want to keep reminding wedding guests about the wedding details because they have lost their invitation. Because you want your wedding guests to be able to access your wedding details whenever they need to. Because you don't want to have to deal with emailing out wedding photos when you get back from your honeymoon. you want your guests to see the photos straight away. Because you want to be able to send a thank you message to your guests right after the wedding. Because you want you family and friends living abroad to view your wedding as it is happening. | 2. | What is the difference between the 3 packages on offer? | |||
| Ruby is your basic package containing everything you need to send your wedding details out to your family & friends. | ||||
| Sapphire is the has the same "before wedding day" page but also offers an "after wedding day" page with a thank you message, a new photo of your wedding, and a full photo gallery. | ||||
| Diamond has the same "before wedding day" page but with a pre wedding gallery for your engagement or other photos and aso has an "after wedding day" page with a full gallery, thank you message, plus the option to stream your wedding directly to your personal page on the Our Wedding Online page so that your friends and family who cannot attend the wedding can watch the wedding as it happens. | 3. | How do I set up my personal wedding page? | |||
| If you are working with a wedding planner, as him/her to contact us and we will work through them. If you are doing it yourself, Give Dorothy at Our Wedding Online a call and she will walk you through how to email your photo, wedding message and wedding details. Dorothy will prompt you to think about the message you would like to send out to your guests. If you are getting a two page package such as the Sapphire or Diamond packages, you will also need to think of a "Thank You" message. | 4. | How do I get my photos to you? | |||
| You may email the photos you want to place on your page with your personal message. If you have chosen a page with a gallery, you may email photos if they are not too numerous or large. If you have a lot of photos or they are large images, please copy them to a CD and post them or drop them off. Call or email Dorothy beforehand to make arrangements. Any wedding video should be treated the same way. Please be sure to designate someone to gather your images at one time. A set of images for your gallery will only be accepted once. We cannot add to the gallery once it is uploaded to your page. Back to top. | ||||
| 5. | How safe are my images? | |||
| If you are concerned about your images, you should choose the image to go on your personal page carefully. This image is going on the web. If you are concerned, we can place a generic image on your page. Alternatively you can choose an image that would not cause you sensitivity if it were to be seen on a search engine. Your image gallery's are embedded in a Flash document so they will not appear on any search engine. Only those with a login to your personal page will have access to those images. Back to top. | ||||
| 6. | How safe is my video? | |||
| Any video provided to us will be embedded in a flash document and is therefore not downloadable to any other entity. Your video is only viewable by those with a login to your personal page. If you choose the Diamond Package, you have the ability to designate someone in your wedding party to take streaming video of your wedding. This video is streamed directly to your personal page and is only viewable from there and the web enabled mobile phone provided to you by Our Wedding Online. Back to top. |

| 7. | I love the idea of the streaming video but I'm not very technical. How can I make sure it works? | |||
| If you choose our Diamong package, we will give you a web enabled mobile phone (Our Wedding Online requires a deposit for this mobile phone, fully refundable when the phone is returned in excellent condition). We will set up your page to accept video and go through step-by-step instructions on how to turn on the phone and access the video program. We will set up a couple of test videos for you to view that can be deleted before the wedding. We will also be available by phone on your wedding day if you have problems. | 8. | I'm going on my honeymoon straight after my wedding. How do I get my 'Thank You' message and photos to you? | |||
| If you purchase our Sapphire or Diamond packages you will get an "after wedding day" page. We encourage you to give us your Thank You message and a photo before your wedding, so that the page is available for your guests. We also encourage you to designate a trusted member of the wedding party to take care of sending on your photos and videos to us. Back to top. | ||||
| 9. | How much video can I take on the phone? | |||
| The phone will come with a prepaid sim card which will allow you to video until the sim card is used up. You may video as much as you like until the sim card reaches it's limit. Back to top. | ||||
| 10. | The wi fi-enabled mobile phone I used for the wedding videos was lost of broken. What do I do now? | |||
| Whan you get the phone from us we will make sure you know how to use the phone. You will sign a contract stating that you are responsible for the phone while it is in your posession and a deposit will be given, which is fully refundable when the phone is returned to us (provided the phone is returned within 7 days of the wedding and is in excellent working order). If the phone is lost or damaged, you are responsible for the full cost of the phone. Back to top. | ||||
